Disco Report appears among the radio shows produced by Waldemaro Martínez, one of the most sought-after announcers as the voice of the leading Venezuelan minitecas. By its own name and by the period in which Waldemaro developed his radio career, the show belongs to the wave of slots devoted to the disco music that dominated the dance floors and the minitecas at the end of the 70s and through the 80s.
The title appears consistently in the announcer's biographical write-ups, alongside Venezuela Todo Color, La Hora del Ensueño y del Amor, La Musiteca and Programa en Vivo. Nevertheless, the station, the years on the air and the exact format of the show have not been located in outside sources, beyond the disco orientation its name suggests.
