What is on record

Silver was a miniteca from San Cristóbal, Táchira state. Its only firm documentary trace is its participation in the LP “Invasión de Minitecas” (Magic Record's, 1986), whose back cover thanks it along with its city among the twelve minitecas that made the record possible.

That a Táchira crew should appear on a vinyl pressed in Caracas says something in itself: by 1986 the miniteca circuit was no longer a capital-city phenomenon, and the record documents it from Maracaibo to Puerto Ordaz and from Mérida to San Cristóbal.
