What is on record

Abel López, known as DJ Abel Lo (Abel Lò), was born in Caracas and is a systems engineer. His 2011 biography describes him as passionate about music “since the 90s decade” and with more than fifteen years of experience — which places his beginnings around the middle of that decade.

He worked with discplays such as The Witness, Coco's, DJs Events and Skull, and played renowned discos of the capital — Mr. Green, U-Bar, Flow and Nikki Beach among them — plus the social clubs of the Caracas circuit: Centro Asturiano, Centro Portugués, Hermandad Gallega and Hotel Eurobuilding. He shared the stage with Héctor Patty and Luis Patty, both with entries in this Archive. The trade nicknamed him “la Musiteca Móvil”.
