Daniel Frontado, Venezuelan and an electronics engineer, began his run as a discjockey in 1986, under the pseudonym DJ Daniel Mix, passing through some of the country's most famous minitecas in small participations — his biography does not specify which ones.
From the booth he moved to the studio: as a producer he accumulated more than 170 productions published on Beatport, with labels such as Nervous Records (New York), Kult Records, SouthSide Records, Musik Xpress and Definitive Records, plus appearances on the Venezuela Electrónica Vol. 3 and Vol. 4 albums with the tracks “Magic Down” and “Túmbala”. He has played in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Curaçao, Mexico, Panama, the United States and Spain.
