What is on record
DJ Alfre started in Venezuela as a resident in Maracay in the late 80s and early 90s, and from there toured clubs in Caracas, Los Teques, Barquisimeto, Maracay, Valencia and Maracaibo.
In early 1998 he settled in Miami, where he founded his company Promo Entertainment LLC for club promotions and electronic music events. Since 2005 he has been the official DJ and producer of Proyecto Uno, the pioneering group of 90s New York merengue house, for whom he has collaborated on, produced and remixed hits such as “El Tiburón”, “Another Night” and “25 Horas”.
