Melón TV is a contemporary Venezuelan channel/outlet that the CMTK Archive confirms among those keeping miniteca culture alive today. Its personal brand —“Melón”— signs documentary material from the scene, and its work includes direct interviews with figures of the movement: one public example is the conversation with Iván Rojas (“del clan rumbero”), presented as one of the most respected minitequeros in Venezuela — and who, as the CMTK Archive confirms, is a co-founder and discjockey (now DJ) of the miniteca Holiday (Ciudad Guayana), brother of Leonel Rojas. That kind of material —first-hand testimony from owners and protagonists— makes it valuable as a documentary source and as an ally of the miniteca movement.
