What is on record

Iván Rojas, nicknamed “Peluretro”, is co-founder and discjockey of the miniteca Holiday (Ciudad Guayana, Bolívar state, founded from 1987 onward), together with his brother Leonel Rojas. The CMTK Archive confirms (2026-07-10) that the brothers Leonel and Iván Rojas founded and played at Holiday, and that this Iván is the same one who appears on the present-day scene within the “clan rumbero”.

His standing today is documented independently of the magazine: the channel Melón TV devoted an interview to him, presenting him as one of the most respected minitequeros in Venezuela. He is, therefore, a living figure of the movement, not merely an archive mention.

Note on identity (confirmed)

The Leonel Rojas who co-founded Holiday (Ciudad Guayana), Iván's brother, is NOT the same Leonel Rojas already documented in this archive with the career The Drop → Betelgeuse (Caracas): they are different namesakes —different city, different miniteca—, confirmed by the CMTK Archive (2026-07-10). Each one has his own entry.
