Studio 84

The chronicles of Caracas nightlife place it in the basement of the Centro Comercial Bello Campo, in Chacao —the same space where the show hall “El Sarao” operated for years and, later, restaurants—, and recall that the venue held matinees that competed with those of the El Bosque discotheque, among the most famous in the Caracas of the time. That account matches point by point the address printed on the flyer.

Note of caution: not to be confused with “Studio 54” of New York or with other rooms of numerical name.

A precision about the name

The magazine names it “Estudio 84” and it was published that way here for a time. Its own printed material writes “Studio 84”, and that is the spelling this Archive adopts. The address of this entry keeps the earlier form so as not to break the links already published.
