The 1986 record

Alí Osse is credited with the general production of the LP “Caracas 750 presenta Sandy Lane”, released in 1986 on the Atlas label and distributed by Sonográfica, a subsidiary of RCTV.

The record chains together fifteen italo disco and hi-NRG tracks the way the miniteca sounded live. It was mixed at the Estudio Fidelis C.A. in Caracas, with two Technics 1200 MKII turntables, an Efectron II, a DOD digital sampler and a Roland drum machine.

What remains to be documented

The credit is on record in print, but not its exact scope within the production, nor whether he worked on other miniteca records of the era, nor any biographical details.
