Henry Gaspar

From student to engineer and businessman

Over the years, Gaspar stopped being the Loyola student who owned a miniteca and graduated as an engineer, devoting himself to the sound business. Today, together with his brother Jean Paul Gaspard, he is behind Audio Concept —the sound, lighting and video house based in Margarita and Caracas into which, according to the group's testimony, Saxon mutated—, one of the most important companies in the field in the country.

He also has Sumeca in Puerto Ordaz, a store selling electrical goods —not a sound house—. A current business directory lists in the city a Sumeca dealing in electrical and electronic goods (Prolongación Avenida Las Américas, Edificio Brunini); its ownership and its history remain under documentary verification.

Henry Gaspar's path thus runs through several stages: the student who owned Saxon, the engineer he trained to be afterwards, and the sound businessman who today shares Audio Concept with his brother. He enters the Archive as a hidden figure because of the first of them: the young owner of one of the big minitecas of Guayana.
