One more of the group

Pedro Paredes S. was a friend of the group from the start and a constant collaborator, until they considered him one more member of the crew.

The crew of hands

For a long time he was the man responsible for moving the minitecas' equipment, with a great many collaborators under his charge. In a miniteca that came to operate three rigs, with JBL scoops, eighteen-inch subwoofers and amplification racks, moving the system was not a logistical detail: it was the condition for there being a party at all.

The crews of hands, his companions write, were not confined to Caracas: they went with the miniteca on its journeys to the interior of the country.
