Origins and early years

Best Music was born in early 1980 in Caracas, known at first as “La Gusanera.” Its technical and mixing stamp quickly placed it on the scene, with Alexander Delgado “El Pollo” at the head of the project. Accounts from the community preserve sessions and memorabilia from those first years.

The leap to the Oriente

In 1981 it moved to Güiria (Sucre) and, after close to a year, consolidated a presence in Puerto La Cruz. In 1982 it took part in the Primera Guerra de Minitecas at the Gimnasio Cubierto Luis “Lumumba” Estaba, presented by Porteñas 640 AM, a milestone that projected it as a regional benchmark. The venue's history and its central place in PLC remain documented by local media and social networks.
