Julio Medina appears as the founding discjockey of Miniteca Best Music (“La Diferencia”), the name born in the early 80s in Caracas that made its mark in eastern Venezuela.
His documented milestone: at the decks of Best Music, he won first place at the Primera “Guerra de Minitecas” de Puerto La Cruz in 1982, held at the Lubumba gymnasium. External verification adds that the event was presented by the radio station Porteñas 640 AM and that the victory was credited to Medina's mixing performance together with the whole Best Music crew.
