What we know so far

T-Connection was a miniteca from Barquisimeto that presented itself to the public as “el cyber espectáculo,” a slogan that announced its bet on technology. La Revista de las Minitecas records it in an image and mentions it within the story of the movement.

The account collected in the magazine puts on record one concrete achievement: T-Connection was selected to represent its state at the Primera Guerra Nacional de Minitecas, held at the Poliedro de Caracas —a contest in which one miniteca was chosen for each state in the country—. In that selection, it was singled out precisely for its technology: having a Tascam console in a miniteca was, in those years, quite a luxury.
