The Hostería Los Médanos is an establishment in Coro, capital of Falcón state, tied by its name to the emblematic Médanos de Coro. In Coro there is today a hotel of the same name (Los Médanos / Médano Club) on the avenida Independencia; it has not been possible to confirm whether it is exactly the same venue of the 1980s the magazine alludes to or an establishment with a similar name. Out of caution, the identification is left open and is not taken as settled.
Its place in Cultura Miniteka
The magazine places there the debut of the miniteca The Rainbow, in 1984. That fact comes from the material kept in the CMTK Archive and agrees with the entry for The Rainbow already written in the project (a miniteca of Coro, Falcón, whose existence and locality are independently corroborated). The venue itself, on the other hand, has not been possible to fix documentarily; it remains under documentary verification.
