He was already a professional DJ in 1985, and was the tutor of his younger brother, Francisco Freites “El Niño de Oro”; decades later they founded The Freites Brothers Records together.

What is on record
Around the year 1985, Alexis Freites was already a professional DJ — so his brother Francisco Freites told it in an interview: watching his practice sessions he acquired the taste for the trade, and Alexis became his tutor. From that school came “El Niño de Oro”, who has his own entry in this collection.
His own career continued through house: he was a resident of the BLUE (Universidad Santa María, Caracas) and La Playa discotheques, signed his 2007 release “House Music” with Batuque Music Records, and in 2013 created with his brother the label The Freites Brothers Records, later joined by Big Latin and The Freites House.
