What is on record
Javier Valera was the lead discjockey of Miniteca Loboteca Flash, from Valencia (Carabobo state), throughout its entire run. He signed as “DJ Z”, an alias taken from Mazinger Z, whose comic and theme song they projected at the parties. Together with his brother Gustavo Valera he founded the miniteca in 1987 —while still a boy— with what would later become one of the most original and exclusive names in the center of the country.
In the booth he was accompanied by the video jockey Nallira “Afrodita”, whom he later married.

According to the testimony of its own protagonists, Javier Valera was always passionate about film: he made a movie titled “Después del túnel” and decided to move to Spain to devote himself to film and television.
