1900 My Way

“El club más bello del mundo”

It was not one more discotheque in the CCCT: it was the city club of Caracas —private lounges, a reading room, a piano bar, banquets and two restaurants— with its own discotheque inside.

What is on record

1900 My Way operated in the Centro Ciudad Comercial Tamanaco (CCCT), in Caracas. Those who frequented it agree in describing it as a place where luxury and good service were in the air, one that had nothing to envy the best European discotheques and that set the standard for the enjoyment of Caracas nightlife.

The same shopping center had housed City Hall since 1979, the discotheque of the immense dance floor that later came to be called Winners and afterwards Palladium, and which has its own entry in this Archive. The years of opening and closing of 1900 My Way are not yet on record, so neither is how long the two coincided under the same roof.
