The Glass Club was a discotheque in the center of Puerto Ordaz, located on carrera Upata. Its owner was Alfredo Gouveia, the same man who years earlier had been the promoter and sponsor of the miniteca Saxon: from answering for a sound system he went on to having a house of his own for the city's rumba.
It operated between the end of the eighties and the beginning of the nineties — the exact years of opening and closing are still to be confirmed. What was photographed is its booth in 1994: at the front of the mixer, from left to right, Carlos Contrera “DJ Duck”, Kuni and Heider Hernández “DJ Heider”.
