Pier Giampaolo Yunes conceived and built ZC from Montalbán (Caracas) at the start of the 80s. A restless self-taught man, he went from a domestic AIWA system to a professional set that combined anodized-iron furniture, modular racks and a display capable of housing four turntables with maximum ergonomics.
Key contributions
Under his leadership, ZC introduced innovations that changed the standard of mobile sound: the early use of sampler and retro-sampler, bass in mono, a pink-noise generator, mixes with six turntables and a battery of effects and lighting of its own design (double cubes, spiders, followspots and digital control).
