What is on record
Carlos Tespio appears, from the beginnings of the Miniteca The Drop —founded in 1982 in the east of Caracas and documented with an entry of its own in the MiniTK Archive—, as a house discjockey (now DJ). His signature ended up pressed into the records: together with Fernando Dieu he mixed the miniteca's two LPs, “Dancing in The Drop” (EMI, 1985) and “Dancing in The Drop: Strikes Again” (Capitol, 1986), both with an entry in this Archive's Discography.
The thirtieth-anniversary recognition
On August 1, 2012, at the celebration of The Drop's 30 years, Ronald Pacheco presented him with the house's recognition “for his valuable contribution to the production” of the two Long Plays, “mastered in the years 85 and 86 under the Sono Rodven record label”. The diploma carries the two covers printed on it: the drop with the robot discjockey and the “Strikes Again”.
