Carlos Vega, known as “Willi”, is one of the characters La Opinión — Cúcuta's newspaper — rescues when telling the golden age of the minitecas of the Colombian-Venezuelan border in the 80s: he started out hauling cables, became a discjockey and came to own a miniteca of his own.
It is the trade's classic arc within the movement: the kid who comes in through the speakers and ends up owning the booth — the same road that houses like Macro Efectus and Stereos 1090, both with entries in this Archive, traveled in Cúcuta.
