What is on record

José Luis Gómez, nicknamed “Cuqui”, appears among the discjockeys of ZC “La del Control Total” —the Caracas miniteca that introduced the live sampler, the low console and mixing with multiple turntables—, according to La Revista de las Minitecas (DJ Vladimir Medina Edition), pp. 8 and 39. The ZC entry in this same archive lists him in the section “Discjockeys and technical staff”.
