Among his first projects, these stand out: Sticky Music (1982), La Tortuga (1983), Stereoteka (1985), La Lechuga (1986), New York New York (1987) and his first discotheque, Studio 99, a laboratory of innovation for the Caracas nightlife scene.
Through the 80s and 90s, Oscar Leal set the trend as one of the most influential DJs in the country, pioneering the scoring of fashion shows for designers such as Ángel Sánchez, Silvia Tcherassi, Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Espina, Durant & Diego and EPK, and forming part of the sound crew of the Miss Venezuela in several editions.

He has shared the stage with world-class figures such as David Guetta, Bob Sinclar, Avicii, Steve Aoki, Alesso, Fedde Le Grand and legends such as Luis Miguel, Elton John, Gloria Gaynor, Andrea Bocelli, Ricky Martin, Shakira, Peter Gabriel, Jennifer López, Britney Spears, Marc Anthony, Juan Luis Guerra and Mecano, among many others.
Those milestones positioned him as a reference point in electronic music and in high-level shows, standing out for productions with dancers, pyrotechnics and impeccable technical and aesthetic control.

Now based in Miami, Florida (USA), he keeps an active calendar in clubs of South Florida such as Spazio Night Club, Baru, Gavanna, Blue Night Club, Stephano's, Club 50, Baronesh, Lolita, Cantina La 20, La Victoria Social Club, Tu Candela Brickell, The Hangar, Divino Pecado, Komodo, Barsecco and La Otra Disco Bar. His style has traveled stages in the United States, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Holland, Israel, Panama, Mexico, Brazil, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Peru, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Curaçao, Aruba and Venezuela.
DJ Service™ — Training and production
Founder and director of DJ Service™, with offices in Venezuela and Miami, a company devoted to training DJs, producing events and providing booking services. He has provided the music for launches, conventions and shows for brands such as Johnnie Walker, Buchanan's, Corona, Moët & Chandon, Absolut, Movistar, Siemens, Evian, AXN, Warner Channel and Empresas Polar, among others.
The present and the legacy
With more than four decades onstage, Oscar Leal remains a symbol of the professionalism and the evolution of the Latin DJ. Today he combines his artistic career with teaching and mentoring new generations, sharing what he knows through courses, lectures and workshops.
