Venezuelan radio in the eighties also competed on endurance. In 1985, Julián Isaac and Ramón Mata set the first record: 125 hours of continuous broadcasting on Caracas 750, the axis station of that decade.
Four years later, in 1989, Caco Hernández broke it with the RETO 14.5.0: 150 hours on air. Both feats —the record and the one that beat it— are documented in their protagonists' records in the Voces collection of the MiniTK Archive, because that is how records are told: whole.
