What is on record

Lightning appears among the guest minitecas on the poster for the “Doble Estallido de Minitecas” (El Poliedro de Caracas, Año Internacional de la Juventud, 1985; organized by the Sindicato de Radio y TV and the F.C.U.), representing the state of Miranda alongside other out-of-town crews such as T. Conection (Barquisimeto), Infierno (Valencia) and Best Music (Puerto La Cruz). That poster —a primary source of the CMTK Archive— confirms its existence and its participation in 1985.

Lightning also appears on the bill for the “Explosión de Minitecas del Parque Naciones Unidas” (Caracas, 19 October 1985, won by ZC), another major event of the same year (distinct from the Doble Estallido, with a different venue and a different organizer). Its presence on both bills reinforces that it was a miniteca active on the national scene of the mid-80s.

The biographical details are still to be confirmed: owners, year of founding, discjockeys and equipment. No independent source developing its history has been located (the web mentions place it on the circuit, with no biography).
