Who he is
DJ Grego is a Venezuelan discjockey and broadcaster of the present-day scene, active above all in Puerto La Cruz (Anzoátegui state), who has become one of the voices keeping alive the culture of the minitecas and the retro music of the 80s and 90s. He signs his work as “GREGO ENTERTAINMENT” and presents himself as a broadcaster of the miniteca world.
His work has two sides that reinforce each other: on one hand he hosts and mixes live at minitecas in eastern Venezuela —he has been seen, for instance, at the miniteca Betelgeuse in Puerto La Cruz alongside DJ Daniel Max—; on the other he documents and spreads the history of the movement through his social media accounts and, above all, as founder of Minitecas TV, the channel that has become one of the main audiovisual references for Cultura Miniteka (with its own entry in “Allies On Air”).
