What is on record
“DJ Niño” appears among the discjockeys who made up the booth of Maui Discplay —a miniteca/mobile discotheque conceived by Arturo Gutiérrez in the mid-1980s—, according to the chronicle in “La Revista de las Minitecas”. The live entry for the name in the MiniTK Archive (collection “Minitecas: Mobile Power”) links him with DJ Diablo, DJ Tony, DJ Ranses, DJ Javier and DJ Edy Betancourt, with Waldemaro Martínez as the official voice. “DJ” is kept because it is an alias.
