Raven Miniteque and the origin of a passion

In 1982, together with two friends, Luis Atilio Alfonzo founded Raven Miniteque, a small miniteca but with an impeccable musical selection. His vision was not only to be heard: it was to mix with intent. In 1984, shortly before Raven broke up, he met Pierre Giampaolo Yunes, owner of ZC, who was looking for a discjockey (now DJ) for a special appearance.

The first test was the opening of the bandshell at the Club Paracotos. Luis Atilio provided the music for the event and his work convinced Pierre: that day his period as official discjockey of ZC began.

New York New York and the birth of a technique

That same year, ZC was not yet very well known and had few parties. In parallel, Luis Atilio joined the discotheque New York New York, in the CC Concresa, as an opening discjockey. Two months later he became resident discjockey.
