A second protagonist: Oscar Leal (1986)

The discjockey Oscar Leal —whose MiniTK Archive entry is based on material he contributed himself— lists “La Lechuga (1986)” among his first projects, after Stereoteka (1985) and before New York New York (1987). With this, La Lechuga is backed by two direct protagonists in two different periods: Oscar Hernández, at the end of the 70s, and Oscar Leal, in 1986 — which moreover extends its documented period of activity to the mid-80s.

A third protagonist: DJ Qchi (1978)

The biography of DJ Qchi —with an entry in this Archive's “One Mixshow, One Name” collection— sets in 1978, “at the fondly remembered La Lechuga discotheque,” the start of his career as a professional discjockey: the doorway to a decades-long run through the Venezuelan night. Three direct protagonists, three periods: the room stands documented as a booth seedbed from the late 70s to the mid-80s.
